Recovery efforts from the 14-15 January eruption of Hunga Tonga-Hunga Ha'apai continued in Tonga. The recent awakening of the Fagradalsfjall (Iceland), Cumbre Vieja (La Palma, Canary Islands) and Hunga Tonga-Hunga Haapai (Tonga) volcanoes reminded us The two islands of Hunga-Tonga and Hunga-Haapai were joined by a volcanic eruption in 2009.
